Start your day early in the mountains to experience the sun shining on the peaks. Wake up around 7:00 am. Freshen up , grab a quick bite at your hotel or one of the eateries on the Mall Road (which is centrally located).
Head straight for Hidimba temple.
Hidimba temple should be visited not just by religious folks but any traveler for it is an architectural marvel situated amidst the pine forest with fluffy Angora rabbites runing around. Dedicated to Hidmba – the demon goddess of the pandavas, this temple is more than 800 years old.
HOW TO REACH HERE - It is situated at a distance of roughly half a kilometer from the Mall Road and can be easily accessed on foot. However, if you don’t want to walk, take an auto for Rs. 30.

Have lunch at Solang Valley (preferably after adventure sports to avoid). Additionally you can get lunch packed from Mayur Restauarnt located on the Mall Road and have indulge in a picnic like vibe at the top of the hill.|
Solang Valley is the adventure lover’s ideal destination. Sparkling white snow clad peaks of mountains make an enormous view at it from various angles. Best part is that all these peaks can be seen closely as one goes to the top of the valley via a beautiful rope-way. You can choose to stay at top of the valley until evening. Just make sure you come down before the last rope way ride which happens around 6 pm.
HOW TO REACH HERE – Hire a cab within a range of Rs. 500-800 for reaching Solang Valley and further to Gulaba. The cost should include drop charges as well. There are ample taxi operators in and around Mall Road .
ENTRY FEE FOR ROPE WAY – Rs. 500 per person.

Gulaba is a popular sightseeing destination that lies a few kilometers ahead of Solang Valley. It is an extremely gorgeous place where the greenery of the pine trees, whiteness of the snow and blue water of the Beas make for one hell of a combo. Best part about Gulaba is that there is abundant snow on the peaks even during peak summer months.
HOW TO REACH HERE- You can continue traveling in the same cab that you hired from Manali.
